Our farm, the garden, the orchard and the rural party pavilion are guaranteed to make your wedding a great success. A country wedding, a vintage wedding, an Italian or Roman wedding are absolute hits, but there is so much more possible. Our simple package consists of a ceremonial part followed by a toast to you, the brand new couple, supplemented with a dinner or a reception. Do you want all the way? Get married and sleep in one location | weekend wedding

Our specialty is the weekend wedding. For two days, our farm, the junior and family suites, the loft, the apartments and the luxury holiday homes will be exclusively for you, your family and friends. The bridal suite is of course reserved for you. We arrange everything; From the hairdresser to a nice ending. Imagine: enjoying a whole weekend in this unique place with family and friends. That’s getting married 3.0! You are completely relieved, food and drinks are arranged, no one has to drive, everything in one location, even the photo shoot. The day after, wake up relaxed, enjoy brunch together and reminisce about your memorable wedding. Did you know that this was even common in the past? You should not change what is good. What does such a weekend look like? We tailor everything to your wishes, but you can think of a program like the one below:

Friday

Get together informally and get a taste of the atmosphere, exchange the latest news, install yourself in your suite, apartment, loft or holiday home, have a campfire with finger food and a beer and prepare yourself a bit for the big day.

Saturday

Have brunch together on Saturday morning, receive the hairdresser and the make-up artist in your own suite. The wedding ceremony in the medieval courtyard or in our orchard. Wedding cake and prosecco in the garden, followed by the photo shoot, followed by a fabulous party in our farmer’s party pavilion. At the end of a great day, you will spend the night in our attractive suites and / or holiday homes.

Sunday

On Sunday morning you can enjoy wonderful and carefree after wedding moments together. The perfect ending, guaranteed!

Wow, Jacqueline & Bert – and the rest of the family !! Thank you so much for an unimaginably fantastic wedding weekend! The whole run-up to it with you was already wonderful and the whole weekend turns out so magical. What a gift !! You really amazed us.

For anyone looking for an attractive, informal and casual place to celebrate a weekend wedding, we recommend the Gillishof with a lot of love! This is what it is all about as far as we are concerned: celebrating love together, connecting with all family and friends and enjoying what happens spontaneously in this atmospheric place. A whole weekend was not long enough for us and our guests. We actually all wanted to continue to live there! The personal approach is so pleasant here and you can tell that Jacqueline and Bert really enjoy doing this. As far as we are concerned, there is no better location! For us it was mainly the click that we immediately had – we were just very much in sync and that made it very special for us.

also possibility to move everything inside, should the weather go wrong

the location has an almost French / Italian feel, which makes for a wonderful holiday atmosphere
you can do everything in one location – dressing & getting ready, ceremony, drinks / reception, dinner, party night and sleeping – and that takes a lot of stress away. And it is not boring either because you can easily move from the courtyard to different places outside and to the party room.
for a weekend wedding they put everything aside and there are no other guests on the site, so it really is your party.

In short: The Gillishof is a top location for a very nice wedding. I would do it again in a minute 😉

My love and I were looking for a place where we could make our dream come true. We found that place, the Gillishof. We even asked Jacqueline and Bert, the owners of the Gillishof, to act as our witnesses to our Roman-style wedding.

It had to be a surprise to our guests. We let our guests believe that we would be both celebrating our 70th birthday. That remained a surprise until the last moment, thanks in part to Jacqueline and Bert. They have made our party a memorable moment and not just for us.
