André Rieu summer- and winter concerts 2025

Twice a year, André Rieu, along with his 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, performs a series of concerts in his beloved hometown of Maastricht! During these concerts, you can enjoy beautiful waltzes and iconic music pieces. Each year, a special act is also featured. Even for those who are not necessarily fans of the music genre, these concerts are an experience worth having!

 

Summer Concerts at the Vrijthof

The André Rieu summer concerts take place annually during the first three weekends of July at the Vrijthof in Maastricht. And 2025 is no exception! For this occasion, the iconic Vrijthof is transformed into a magical open-air theater.

In recent years, André Rieu has also started performing winter concerts at MECC Maastricht. For these concerts, MECC is specially transformed into a magical Christmas venue.

Accessibility

Gillishof is a 30-minute drive from Maastricht. On André Rieu concert days, expect heavy traffic in the city, including in parking garages and lots. Visit the website of Maastricht Bereikbaar for all parking tips related to these days. The section “Parking Tips Coming from the North: Eindhoven/Sittard/Heerlen/Aachen” is especially relevant.
